September is the time when the holiday season in seaside resorts is coming to an end and the number of tourists is noticeably decreasing. But not in Sochi, and this undying interest is connected with a string of large-scale events. Before the whistles of the fans over the football stands after the Confederations Cup had died down, the rumble of fireballs was already heard - Formula 1 was taking place in the city. Between sports events, Sochi friendly opens its doors to musical events. And one of the most notable in this entertainment program- "New wave". Today the competition was officially launched - music over the Black Sea coast will sound from today for a whole week.

And although in fact New Wave now considers Sochi to be its home, the geography of the competition this year has changed somewhat: from the booming resort capital, the event moved closer to mountain scenery- in the spacious "Olympic Park". It is here, not far from the Fisht stadium, where Russian figure skaters once won their gold medals, the Sochi park filled with crazy attractions, and the railway station, where the stars, members of their teams and their equipment were carefully delivered by Russian Railways, New Wave Hall was erected this year.

The change of scenery has not changed the rules of the "game", every day the artists and contestants have a strict routine: during the day they have rehearsals, in a more relaxed atmosphere and comfortable outfits they check the technique and warm up the ligaments, and in the evening - already in full dress and, following the sensitive instructions of the hosts of the show , one by one they take the stage and charge the listeners with a festive mood. Today, a whole detachment of stars was responsible for creating a special atmosphere.

The main characters of the opening day were Dima Bilan, Sergey Lazarev, Polina Gagarina, Irina Dubtsova, Nikolai Baskov, Diana Arbenina, Yulianna Karaulova and other artists. Philip Kirkorov took the stage twice. However, his main triumph on the "New Wave" is ahead - on September 13 there will be a big concert with the participation of stars, timed to coincide with the anniversary of Kirkorov.

The fact that this year there will be a gala concert in my honor, I learned at the closing of the "New Wave 2016". Since then, I have been constantly thinking about how everything will go. We began to prepare with the artists, to discuss. I myself will lead this evening, while I have not heard a single song that other musicians have prepared. And if ahead on the New Wave the evenings are entirely themed - whether it be Kirkorov's anniversary concert or Cinema Day, which will take place tomorrow, then the show in honor of the opening, according to tradition, turned out to be a big musical skit. Each artist came up with a song that became their biggest hit that year. Dima Bilan made the whole room dance to the incendiary "Hold", Jasmine tuned in to a romantic wave by performing "You are my happiness", the Estradarada group came out with a song whose words the whole country memorized - "Vitya needs to go out." Olga Buzova's solo performance was a particularly bright moment - Olga's performance did not end with the song "To the Sound of Kisses", and she talked with the audience for a long time, and then unequivocally flirted with Andrey Malakhov, the host of the evening. By the way, for Malakhov, returning to the New Wave was a special event - he did not host the competition for 15 years and returned to the New Wave stage only after switching from Channel One to Russia 1.

"New Wave" from year to year becomes one of the main events not only in the musical, but also in the social life of Russia. Everyone comes: singers-singers, actors-actresses, showmen, producers.
