Stealth mode - what does it mean? Stealth games. Best stealth action games Stealth mission

Introduction

To begin with, I would like to say that I am writing this guide, because I see that many players do not understand the stealth systems of PAYDAY 2. Stealth here is considered to be the passage of the mission without the police (not counting those that were on the level initially). You are unlikely to be able to achieve results the first time, it takes time and practice. Gradually you will gain experience and one day master the science of stealth. It describes the correct passage of all missions that can be completed in stealth. And the more times you can go through them, the better for you.

If you encounter any problem or just want to play PAYDAY 2 with the veterans, please contact the player with the nickname Loloppe. If you want to chat in Russian, write to the player with the nickname Vendetta8247

general information

Here's what you need to know:

1) Silencers do not muffle the sound completely. Only use a silenced pistol as a last resort. Due to a bug in the game, if you shoot and there is someone under or above you, they will hear the shooting.

2) If the camera has detected you, destroying it will not help, since the siren is already on.

3) If you need to commit suicide, go straight to the guard or jump down from a great height. Don't waste time, the team may get angry and the host will just kick you out.

4) If you need to destroy something, smash it with your hands. Shoot only if there is no other option.

5) Guards notice broken cameras, glasses, bags and dead bodies next to them. Regardless of their field of view. Be careful if you destroy something. The guard will go to check and turn on the alarm.

Capabilities

This paragraph will give you a general understanding of what abilities are needed for any stealth robbery in the game (I will leave the name of the abilities without translation).

MASTERMIND:

SMOOT TALKER "BASIC"
Basic: Increases the number of pagers you can answer from 2 to 4.
Info: The "pager counter" in PAYDAY 2 is shared among all players, so if someone answers a pager, each player's counter is incremented by 1.

CABLE GUY "ACE"
Basic: Increases hostage binding speed by 2x.
Ace: Increases the number of bindings allowed by 3. A total of 5.
Info: Needed if you don't want to lose money for killing hostages (in most cases).

DOMINATOR "ACE"
Basic: Gives you the ability to intimidate any enemy except special enemies.
Ace: Your intimidation comes from afar and is more likely.
Info: This ability is not divisible. If you have it, you can dominate one. If your friend has it, he can dominate the other. But you still have to answer pagers when you're murdered.

GHOST opening:
Info: Enables the use of jamming transmitters (hereinafter referred to as jammers) that turn off cameras and phones of civilians for a short period of time (upgradable).

CLEANER "ACE"
Basic: Useless.
Ace: Allows you to sack corpses while stealthing.
Info: After you put the corpse in the bag, it can be carried by any member of the team. Bags slow you down. If the guard notices the bag, he will quickly sound the alarm. The same applies to cameras. Using this ability allows you to kill guards without attracting the attention of those who pass by. Not the most important ability, but it will help in many cases.

CHAMELEON "BASIC"
Basic: Causes less suspicion in I.I.
Info: Actually, I don't think it's a particularly useful ability. But if you put on light armor, you will be noticed at the same speed as when you are noticed without armor.

LOCKPICKING EXPERT "ACE"
Basic: Picking locks takes a little less time. Nothing special
Ace: You can now open safes/certain equipment.
Info: This is a great skill to quickly clear 4 Stores, Nightclub and Ukrainian Job.

ECM OVERDRIVE "ACE"
Basic: Increased the duration of the jammer.
Ace: You can now open certain doors with a Jammer.
Info: Not required, but useful in missions where you need to open security offices

Once we're done testing the various branches and ability picking, more information will be posted here.

The first game with stealth mechanics was Manbiki Shounen back in 1979, in which gamers had to steal money from stores without catching the eyes of the owners. But the Guinness Book of Records gave the status of the first representative of the genre to a game called 005 in 1981, in which main character stole documents, hiding from the guards.

The Castle Wolfenstein project (the forerunner of the Wolfenstein 3D shooter) further developed the genre: it allowed the character to change into enemy uniforms, search corpses and take enemies prisoner. However, the real impetus to stealth, which laid the foundations of the gameplay and made it popular, was given in 1998 by the action Metal Gear Solid, which was directed by the brilliant game designer Hideo Kojima. In the same year, two more cult stealth games were released - Tenchu: Stealth Assassins and Thief: The Dark Project. Gradually, the genre acquired character traits, got its high-profile games and entire franchises. They will be discussed in the collection.

1.Hitman

The first place in our top went to a line of games made in the so-called “social stealth” genre, where the killer is constantly in sight, mixing with the crowd, and you need to disguise yourself by changing clothes. Hitman is a series of stealth action games about a silent killer whose skills allow him to infiltrate any object, quietly eliminate the target (if possible, framing the murder as an accident) and leave without arousing suspicion.

Each mission in Hitman is a challenge for your wit and imagination: you can complete the task in various ways, and only the most experienced and skilled player can earn the Silent Assassin rating. The series contains six games, each of which is a real masterpiece (even controversial according to many Hitman: Absolution), so every fan of the genre should definitely check out all of its releases, including classic games from the early 2000s.

2 Splinter Cell

A series of video games (as well as books and comics) depicting the activities of NSA special agent Sam Fisher, who performs assignments relating to US national security. Since 2002, with the release of the first part of the franchise, Fisher has been successfully dealing with terrorists, preventing wars and stopping the apocalypse. For this, he sometimes has to become a double agent and even go against his superiors.

Stealth is at the heart of Splinter Cell's gameplay. In a shootout, the hero has little chance of surviving (not counting the latest games in the franchise, where the emphasis was slightly shifted from stealth to action). Therefore, it is necessary to hide in the shadows, as far as possible not to cause alarm and not leave witnesses. Many releases of the series include a co-op mode that allows you to complete missions with a friend, as well as competitive multiplayer, where players alternately try on the roles of covert spies and heavily armed mercenaries.

3.Metal Gear

4. Thief

"Pure" stealth, in which the action is considered bad form, and the best result of the mission will be one in which the main character remains a silent shadow, whose presence will be betrayed only by the jewels that have disappeared from the safes of the nobles. Thief combines steampunk, fantasy, late medieval and Victorian era settings, and the thief Garret, controlled by the player, not only trades in crime, but sometimes saves the world.

5.Styx

The dilogy of stealth action games about a sharp-eared goblin thief has become a real gift for fans of the genre on PC and consoles. The French studio Cyanide Studio released the games Styx: Master of Shadows and Styx: Shards of Darkness, in which they implemented an exciting (and in some ways even hardcore) gameplay, an entertaining story and one of the most charismatic and charming goblins in video games.

The indisputable advantages of the games in the Styx series include excellent level design: the developers have created huge locations with many forks, secret holes, inconspicuous shelters, where you can always find an alternative route, set a trap for careless guards and prepare a couple of escape routes. Do not forget about the leveling of the hero, the crafting system, the combat and magical skills of the protagonist.

6. Dishonored

Dishonored attracts with several elements at once. Firstly, a stunningly atmospheric world inspired by 19th century England, in which there is magic and mysticism. Secondly, a fascinating story: both parts of the series tell about the revenge of the protagonist (heroine) for the death / capture of loved ones. Thirdly, complete freedom of action: the player can break through the crowds of enemies by force or act quietly, use supernatural abilities or rely on the power of weapons.

However, there are still some restrictions (for those who want to obey them): the ending and the further fate of the game world depend on the style of passing Dishonored, and it is the choice of secretive missions that will lead to a positive ending.

7. Mark of the Ninja

8. Deus Ex

Cybernetic implants allow the heroes of the games in the Deus Ex franchise to become both destructive killing machines and ghosts that skillfully bypass patrols, disable security systems and leave no trace of entry into the facility. How exactly to play is up to you, but we recommend trying the stealth option: in this case, Deus Ex even allows you to avoid boss battles (not always).

The first game in the series was released in 2000, and today it looks somewhat outdated. However, it is worth paying attention to later releases - Deus Ex: Human Revolution of 2011 and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided of 2016: they are made no less qualitatively than the original, and raise important questions for humanity in the plot.

9 Assassin's Creed

10 Alien: Isolation

The heroine of this game has to hide in the back streets of the Sevastopol space station against her will: try not to hide if chaos reigns at the station, and a bloodthirsty xenomorph roams the compartments, which cannot be killed with conventional weapons.

However, Amanda Ripley, Ellen Ripley's daughter from the Alien series of films, will be able to find the strength and means to successfully confront the monster. Although with difficulty: the developers endowed the xenomorph with an unusually smart AI, so its behavior cannot be predicted. This makes Alien: Isolation's gameplay a tense cat-and-mouse game, where life becomes the price of victory, and the game itself becomes one of the best horror and stealth action games.

11 Sniper Elite

12. Watch Dogs

The main characters of the Watch Dogs games are the assassins of our time. Thanks to their hacking skills, they are able to subjugate all the electronics around and use it for their own purposes. Turn off the lights and quietly bypass security, hack and turn off the alarm, scout the area with a drone, use a combat robot to eliminate enemies - these and other features allow you to complete missions as discreetly as possible.

Of course, in Watch Dogs you can arrange loud shootouts, sow death and destruction, but the use of a stealth mechanic is more in line with the setting: if the cruelty of the protagonist of the first part of the franchise can still be understood - he avenges the death of loved ones, then the young hacker from the sequel is somehow not person to arrange mass genocide. Therefore, we recommend (but do not insist) to go through the Watch Dogs dilogy in stealth.

13. Dead by Daylight

A multiplayer asymmetric stealth horror game in which the players, divided into two teams, try to complete the given goals. The game is built according to the "one against all" scheme, where the participant in the role of a maniac or a supernatural monster tries to destroy all the victims, who, in turn, do everything to escape from the killer.

Dead by Daylight boasts an impressive amount of content, random level generation, and an extensive leveling system that makes each match different from the others. The authors did a particularly good job on the appearances of the killers - these creatures definitely do not want to catch the eye.

14Thief Simulator

A thief simulator is by definition supposed to be stealth - the career of a thief who doesn't care about stealth will end very quickly at the nearest police station. Thief Simulator confirms this: here you need to thoughtfully approach each case, carefully plan your actions and pull off a brilliant robbery.

A number of missions are available in the game, at first glance simple, but in fact they seriously challenge the player's skill. Here you should show all your imagination and creativity: scout the situation, stock up on auxiliary gadgets, and do not forget to expand your inventory. Efforts will pay off with experience points and a fat wallet, symbolizing the successful completion of affairs.

15. Invisible, Inc.

A rare representative of the stealth strategy genre, a game from the creators of Don't Starve, dedicated to the activities of the spy organization Invisible, which introduces its agents into the most impregnable corporations in the world.

At Invisible, Inc. you have to perform a variety of tasks, using tactics, stealth and spy gadgets. Your goal is to obtain information, steal secret documents, and, if necessary, eliminate enemies. Thanks to random level generation, as well as a large selection of equipment and agent abilities, you will get almost endless replayability of the project.

16. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun

Tactical stealth in the setting of medieval Japan, where you will take command of a squad of the best assassins. Each of them has unique abilities, which allows you to use different strategies during missions: distract and kill enemies quietly, set deadly traps, and if things go wrong, then there will be a hero in your team for open combat.

17. Aragami

Another game in oriental style. This time, you control a vengeful spirit that can control shadows, led by the call of a girl who is being held captive by some sinister order. The hero has teleportation skills and an impressive selection of ways to eliminate opponents in the arsenal, and locations encourage creativity in their passage. The game supports co-op and a level editor, and chances are that if you have a good partner, you can stay in it for a long time.

18.Batman: Arkham

In the Batman: Arkham series of games, the Dark Knight not only breaks the bones of enemies in dynamic fights - almost a third of the passage is occupied by stealth missions, where the player must eliminate all enemies, trying not to catch their eyes. And, I must say, they are made very high quality: Batman uses his entire arsenal of gadgets, silently removes opponents one by one, instilling fear in the rest. By the way, if you are not interested in the action-component of the line, then you can skip the story campaign, focusing on a set of stealth tests, which are more than enough in Batman: Arkham.

19. Thief of Thieves

20 Velvet Assassin

21. Prey (2017)

22. Manhunt

The cult game from Rockstar, dedicated to the extremely violent survival show. In the role of a prisoner sentenced to death, you will hide and kill - otherwise they will kill you. You have a wide range of ways to eliminate enemies, one more disgusting than the other, but you will not be able to do without them if you want to survive. A celebration of violence, a classic, it is impossible to release such a game now. We do not recommend to anyone.

Gamasutra.

Thanks to the genius of Hideo Kojima and a number of other game designers, nowadays stealth games have become a separate genre, and they have their own fan base. However, this trend is so popular that stealth mechanics often appear in other games, including adventure shooters and games that focus on the story at all. Often the implementation of the stealth mechanic does not reach perfection, but today Gamebox has prepared for you a selection of those moments in games where stealth is worked out perfectly. It is not a sin to spend time studying such sequences, which is what our colleagues from Gamasutra did.

Party - Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Almost in all modern games stealth missions (or those that can be completed in a similar way) are arranged in the same way: you get into a certain territory of the enemy, where you have to “remove” opponents one by one. However, in the mission with a party, the developers of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided approached the task more creatively. Here, your enemies are in the same room with ordinary guests. First, the place of action in this case is neutral territory. Secondly, opponents will have to be neutralized in such a way that none of the staff, guards and visitors will notice this. Not an easy task, but passing this level is really interesting.

Fight with Mr Freeze - Batman: Arkham City

Making a truly exciting boss fight is not easy. Many of you, for sure, at least once got into a situation where battles with strong opponents caused only boredom and bewilderment. However, the fight with Mr Freeze in Batman: Arkham City is an example of the opposite. This fight can be set as an example for novice game designers. And especially for those who are fond of stealth mechanics. Combat is a kind of cat and mouse game where you have to hide from the villain, gradually finding opportunities to strike back. If you apply enough ingenuity, then sooner or later the defeat of Mr Freeze cannot be avoided.

Mission "White Death" - Commandos 2

Two-dimensional stealth games in our time no longer surprise anyone. Needless to say, titles like Commandos 2 have really gone to rest, because the technology is still developing, and today igrostroy can offer us something more. However, the founder and director of the Big Robot studio, Jim Rossignol, notes that stealth was still a special pleasure in 2D games, representing a kind of combination of systemic minimalism and pixel art style. A striking example, of course - this is the mission "White Death" in Commandos 2, where you had to secretly leave the ship, find your comrades, and then make your way through the ice, cold and squads of heavily armed Nazis.

Mission Robbing The Cradle - Thief: Deadly Shadows

All four installments in the Thief series show off great stealth mechanics, so there's a lot to learn from there. However, Jim Rossignol especially notes one of the levels of Thief: Deadly Shadows. It is called Robbing The Cradle. In general, it is worth recognizing that Thief: Deadly Shadows went much further than traditional stealth, where you need to hide from the patrol or disguise yourself as others in order not to be noticed. Here, light itself acts as your enemy, and darkness and shadows are your most faithful friends.

Financial District - The Last of Us

When stealth games first appeared, they were positioned as the exact opposite of action titles. However, over time, the boundaries were erased, and, as I noted earlier, more and more games of various genres began to accommodate stealth. And especially often, such gameplay appears in action games. Over time, the developers realized that these two components perfectly complement each other, enlivening the gameplay. An excellent example of a high-quality stealth inclusion in an action game is The Last of Us. Level designer Morten Hedegren especially notes the sequence where you get out of the hotel in the financial district. The small square in front of the building is literally swarming with enemies, and you need to work your way forward without drawing too much attention.

Wonders of Disguise - Hitman: Blood Money

Sometimes stealth is not only a story about hiding, but also about the right disguise. Sometimes you just need to fit into the environment properly so as not to arouse the suspicion of others. The Hitman games are famous for this approach, along with the classic hide-and-seek game. Jim Rossignol especially remembers the level in Hitman: Blood Money where you dress up as a clown to get to a country party. He notes that there is something absolutely perfect in this whole setting.

No room for error - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

However, the disguise does not always have to be unusual to impress the gamer. In Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare there is a level where you are offered to take on the role of a sniper, put on a military camouflage suit and, led by a senior comrade, sneak into enemy territory. The beauty of this mission is that sometimes you will eavesdrop on the dialogue of opponents who are just a few steps away. In addition, you have to methodically "remove" all those who interfere with the mission. But the highlight here is that you have no room for error. It is worth blundering once - and be prepared to take on a battle with a whole horde of heavily armed warriors.

In most computer games, you are given a task, which is proposed to be completed by any available methods. Almost always, you can safely walk around locations or levels, destroying opponents that come your way, not caring about anything other than a health bar and the amount of ammunition. But there is a genre of games called "stealth" - it is fundamentally different from the rest, since the gameplay in it is built completely differently. First of all, it is worth noting that you will forever have to forget about what a face-to-face battle is. After all, stealth is a genre that assumes that you will sneak up on the enemy unnoticed, and eliminate him silently. This greatly complicates the game, forcing you to look for non-standard ways out of the situation, but at the same time makes such projects unique and exciting. Moreover, it is worth paying attention to the fact that many computer games, although they do not belong to the stealth genre, still include the corresponding mode. That is, you are given a choice - do you want to fight the enemy head-on, or do you want to quietly eliminate all enemies. Stealth mode is a very nice and useful addition to any PC game.

Learn more about stealth

Many gamers who have not encountered this mode or games of a similar genre may not quite understand what the essence of this phenomenon is. Therefore, it is worth describing in more detail what stealth is, how to use it and what it gives. Stealth mode is the state of the game character when he can move silently and eliminate opponents just as silently. Most often, the character at the moment of activation of this mode slows down, bends down and does everything so that he cannot be noticed. Killings in this mode are also committed in such a way that no one sees it. In most cases, you are also given the opportunity to hide the body of a defeated enemy so that no one will find it and raise the alarm. Almost always in stealth games, as well as in stealth missions of games of another genre, a raised alarm means at least a loss of game points, but it is much more common that you fail the task completely if you or traces of your actions, that is, not hidden corpses, found the enemy. As you can see, stealth mode is a very exciting journey in unusual world. And it differs significantly from those offered to you in other genres.

Stealth mode outside of computer games

It should be noted right away that this concept is applicable not only to computer games. There is, for example, a stealth mode in VK, the most popular Russian-language social network. What does he represent? In a normal situation, you enter the site under your name, and immediately any of your friends shows that you are now online. But there are situations when you do not want your presence to be noticed - that's when the "VKontakte" stealth mode comes in handy. If you go to the site using it, no one will notice that you did it - all your friends and other interested users will be indicated that you are offline, although you are actually browsing the site. This is far from the only case of using this mode outside of computer games. For example, there is also a stealth mode in Chrome and other Internet browsers. Here the principle of operation is slightly different, but the essence remains virtually the same. If you visit various sites, then this is done through your IP address, the visit is recorded in history, that is, you leave your mark on this site. There is nothing to worry about, because the maximum inconvenience that this can bring you is thematic banners. But if you still do not want to leave traces, then you can act in stealth mode - no one will know that you were on this site. However, its functionality is likely to be limited. It is a pity that you can not use the stealth mode in real life because it would solve a lot of problems. Therefore, we will return to the topic of computer games, since it is there that it is used most often.

Stealth mode in Skyrim

One of the most popular role-playing games of today - Skyrim - also has such a mode. This is expressed in the ability of the character to sneak past the enemy unnoticed or sneak up on him from the back to inflict a fatal blow with the proper skill level. This mode can be very useful if you want to get into some area, but do not want to get involved in a conflict - the reason for this can be either a lack of healing potions, or an insufficiently high level, weak weapons, and much more.

What annoys the fans of this masterpiece the most? This is the intelligence level of the AI in stealth mode. Let's say you want to sneak past a dangerous monster you don't want to fight, and you have two other AI characters traveling with you. In the standard situation, they charge at the enemy as soon as he hits them. Unfortunately, when you go into stealth mode, they do not follow you. And your attempts to sneak past end in complete failure. The developers, however, did not leave the problem without attention and created a patch called "Stealth mode for companions" v3.4 (Better stealth AI for followers in English). This patch fixes this unfortunate misunderstanding and improves the decision-making process of your companions when you enter stealth mode.

One more example

The stealth mode of "Skyrim" is a pretty decent example (of course, with the exception of shortcomings with artificial intelligence) of stealth in computer games, which do not belong to the stealth genre. There are quite a few similar projects where stealth mode is skillfully woven to increase the versatility of the game. One of the latest masterpieces - "GTA-5" - also added a stealth mode, which was previously absent in all games in the series. And only here you can act covertly in certain missions, which will be facilitated by such devices as, for example, a silencer. Naturally, the entire gameplay of this project is built on a completely different gameplay, so you should not expect an abundance of stealth from such a game. GTA-5's stealth mode is more of a cherry on the cake of this masterpiece, and not one of the key components of the entire gameplay. So now is the time to move on to considering those projects that can be fully attributed to the stealth genre. And which, of course, received huge publicity and recognition in the world of computer games.

Splinter Cell

One of the first games that comes to mind when talking about the stealth genre is Splinter Cell. This shooter from the third is an example of a game with a stealth mode that stretches all the time. You act as a special agent who performs various tasks. In most popular games, this means that you are given a huge amount of weapons, an incredible amount of ammo, health that can withstand several dozen direct hits, and you also need to shoot dozens, if not hundreds of enemies. But in Splinter Cell, things are different. Your best friend - as well as a night vision device with which you can get an advantage over your opponents. The incredible success of the first game started the wheel, today several parts have already been released, each of which turned out to be even better than its predecessors. And this means that games in stealth mode have their own audience and are in great demand.

Hitman

Another game series that has received recognition is Hitman. She presents a mysterious story about a bald assassin with the number 47 on the back of his head. He receives tasks and unquestioningly fulfills them, while trying to understand who he is, where he came from and what his true purpose is. A dark business suit, a bald skull and a guitar string - these symbols of the Forty-Seventh have become iconic, so if you have not played any of the parts of this masterpiece series, then you should definitely fix it urgently. This game is especially good for transitioning from standard shooters to stealth, because there is enough open shooting and silent kills. Hitman is not a full-fledged stealth game, this game is rather a symbiosis of stealth and action, while a great symbiosis.

Assassin's Creed

And don't forget about another masterpiece series of stealth games that won the hearts of millions of gamers around the world. The action in Assassin's Creed does not take place in modern world, but in the Middle Ages, and you act as a killer, but not the one who is armed with a pistol with a silencer. You have stilettos and incredible dexterity - this is what you will need to use in order to complete the tasks assigned to you. The series will take you through the Middle Ages, turn you into a pirate, and even throw you back in time. civil war in America. And all this time you will act as a silent killer, and if it seems to you that this is not the most exciting process, but it would be much better to act openly, then you definitely have not played here, you will immediately understand that a stealth game can be much more exciting and fun than the standard action or shooter.

Metal Gear - a classic of the genre

If we talk about how this genre was born, then first of all it is worth paying attention to the Metal Gear series of games. Here the action takes place not in the present tense, but not in the past either. You are in the future and act as a special agent who also performs certain tasks that the authorities put before him. At the same time, he must act as discreetly as possible. Raising the alarm does not lead to the failure of the mission here, but you will have to stay out of the eyes of opponents for quite a long time so that they forget you. But all this time they will not just look around, but will purposefully look for you, so you have to try. Like other stealth games, there is a very twisted plot here, which will even shock many, but in any case will amaze everyone. In a way, this is the hallmark of stealth games - they make up for the lack of action that many gamers love, incredible stories and plot twists.

Stand alone novelties - Dishonored

But all the games that were discussed earlier belong to certain series, that is, they develop the success of projects created many years ago. This is a very convenient way, because you don’t have to constantly reinvent the wheel - you just need to refine the old one. However, unfortunately, what is convenient for the developer is not always pleasant for the gamer. Of course, the new games of the world-famous series delight, make you sit at the monitor for hours, but still fans of the genre would like something fresh, unusual. For a long time they didn't get it, until two successful daredevils appeared, the first of which is Dishonored. Here your wife is killed, and you are framed in such a way that all suspicions fall on you. And you will have to defend your name and avenge the death of your wife, but you must act covertly. Even supernatural abilities will help you with this - for example, you can teleport directly to the enemy behind your back in order to silently eliminate him. Naturally, there were other attempts to revive the stealth genre, but they were all not very remarkable. But the game Dishonored was able to do what others could not - without big names to win worldwide recognition and success.

Mark of the Ninja

Another project that really stands out from the rest is Mark of the Ninja. It cannot be compared to games that take place in our time, or with projects that offer a reference to the past, or even with those that throw the character into the future. Here we are talking about the ninja clan, of which your character is the elected representative. You have to save your clan from destruction and avenge the desecrated honor, but in the course of events, some details will be revealed that will dramatically change your attitude to what is happening. However, not all of this is the main thing here - what is more important is that the game is implemented as a platformer, that is, there are no exciting or realistic three-dimensional graphics, super special effects. The project is gaining fame for its gameplay, immersion in the world of ninja, the abilities of your character. Gradually, you will discover new and new ways of silently killing, you will be able to scare enemies with the bodies of their own comrades-in-arms, feed the corpses of opponents to beetles so that there are no traces - in general, you are given a huge space for action, from which you can hardly tear yourself away.

Conclusion

As a result, we have the following: the stealth mode is such an addition that today is not very widely used in the gaming industry. Most of the successful projects belong to a few well-known series, there are only a couple of games that independently receive recognition. As for the stealth mode, it is present in so many games only as a small aspect of the gameplay, and not as a defining component of it. One thing is for sure - the stealth genre has its fans and continues to attract gamers with both continuations of the good old games and new exciting projects.
