Origami paper tank: detailed step-by-step instructions and videos. Origami tank: assembly diagram of a modular toy How to make a tank from a modular origami diagram

In this master class, I will tell you how to make a tank from origami modules based on a simple diagram. This lesson is not for a beginner, but for a person who is already experienced in modular crafts, so I will skip the small steps and go straight to the main points. We need green sheets, we add the modules accordingly, as well as a little yellow. The craft does not consist entirely of modules, you will need additional parts, such as matches and an elongated thing to secure the tank turret.

We start with the wheels of the tank, which we will then surround with tracks. You need to create just such a detail, it is easy to do and I think it’s not worth showing how it starts. Insert the yellow modules inside the green circle. We will need seven such parts, three on each side and one will be in the role of a tower with a cannon.

With the help of a thread, we align the part so that it is even. You can use glue, then the craft will become stronger.

Now start assembling the caterpillar using three shades of green. We try on three wheels to fit and round the edges of the caterpillar.

When the two edges approach the connection, we insert the wheels inward and finish the caterpillar.

We finally assemble the caterpillar inside which there will be wheels.

Even the tower is spinning at our modular tank made of origami modules.

This homemade product is very simple and does not require much effort for professionals, I do not advise beginners to do this yet. Try to make your own as well.

In the origami technique, you can make not only airplanes, flowers, ships, but also tanks. This type of technique attracts all children, especially boys. Of course, you can buy purchased toys, but making a tank out of paper is much more interesting. This type of applied art helps children develop: they become more dexterous and accurate, they develop their imagination, etc.

Origami is used by speech therapists, is used for violations of the child's psyche and deviations of the musculoskeletal system. Paper products can be used to decorate shop windows, apartments, and use them as entertainment at children's parties. Creating geometric shapes helps children develop better.

Japan is considered the birthplace of origami.. Not so long ago in this country, paper models were of particular importance, they were used for religious rites, weddings, people from the social elite gave them to each other. But in the 20th century, origami spread to Europe and the United States, after which this art has a lot of fans. Later, schematic symbols for different figures appeared. Each subsequent action was indicated by a number. Due to this, it became easier to manufacture a particular model, including a tank.

There are different levels of difficulty in making origami: the most ordinary figures are for beginners, the most difficult ones are for professionals.

In the first version, the object is created from a single sheet of paper by folding it correctly, and in the second, from several or more sheets of paper, this technique is called modular origami.

Historical information about tanks

Before you start making a tank, you need to tell the child about its purpose, tell the story of its origin, and so on. Tanks are the weapons of the ground forces, used to suppress enemy ground troops and equipment. They play an important role in all military operations.

According to official sources, the first tank was invented at the beginning of the 20th century. According to another version, the fighting machine was invented by Leonardo da Vinci himself. The first model looked like a wooden box with wheels, which had holes for firing. In the future, the leading powers of the world picked up this useful idea and expanded their military arsenal. Further, tank models were modernized and improved to this day.

The first military equipment was used by the British in the First World War. Opponents appreciated the capabilities of such an all-terrain vehicle on tracks.

Manufacturing principles

Today there are many schemes and lessons for creating tanks using the origami technique. You can easily and quickly make a paper tank T-34, IS, as well as T-80. For interest, it would be nice to work out all the schemes, but first it is better to practice on the classic method of making a paper tank. The child is willingly interested in this interesting activity. After making ten copies, you can start a tank battle. Assembly principle:

  1. First, the novice master takes a green sheet of paper. The tower and body of the machine will be made of the material. Another sheet is needed for the muzzle. The model is made without the use of glue.
  2. An origami tank is made up of two parts: first, the hull, tracks and turret are made, then the cannon. The muzzle is attached last. You will need a small rectangular piece of paper.
  3. The muzzle must be long. If it is too short, then the model will turn out to be unaesthetic.

The assembly principles are clear, now you need to proceed directly to the construction of an origami paper tank.

Step by step installation

The initial step involves the purchase of a landscape sheet of paper. You can use colored paper or paint the craft from a white sheet in khaki color. The scheme for manufacturing a tank from origami modules includes the following steps:

The tower is done. The next task is to make the body of the model and attach the muzzle.

Final work

In order for the case to be voluminous, you should inflate the craft through the hole where the muzzle will be installed. During inflation, the tank must be held with hands on all sides so that the bends do not come off.

The barrel must be cylindrical. You need to cut a piece of rectangular paper and wrap it tightly around a toothpick. After that, the paper should be untwisted and twisted even tighter. After such manipulation, the muzzle will not unwind. The toothpick is removed at the end. The barrel is installed in the front hole of the tower. After that, the tracks of the tank straighten out. This is done gradually so that the paper does not tear.

The craft is ready. It remains only to color it, if necessary. Such models can be made with a dozen and in a short time. To make the tank battle more interesting, you can make paper trees and other objects that will improve the real picture of the fight. The child will undoubtedly enjoy the art of origami, and he will want to make other objects on his own: cars, animals, and the like.

More complex circuit

This is a different technique for making a tank, glue is required to connect the parts. It is necessary to print the tank diagram on a printer and glue all the details. If there are no color inks on the printer, then you can print a black and white scheme, and then color the design according to the model. For large parts of the craft, special photo paper is used, and thin office paper sheets are suitable for small parts.

In order for the bends to be even, you will have to use a ruler, applying to certain lines and bending the paper. Also, the ruler should be used when cutting out parts, if a clerical knife is used for this. It is important to assemble the tank step by step so as not to get lost in the details. To connect the parts of the craft, transparent acrylic glue or another similar is used. Be sure to paint the ends of the parts.

If everything is done correctly, then the output will be a beautiful tank that will complement the master's collection. In addition to the T-34, you can apply other scans and assemble all tank models from the famous online computer game World of Tanks.

Origami tank assembly scheme:

If you decide to make a tank from different parts that need to be glued, painted, cut holes in them, we recommend that you use our simple tips. Helpful Hints:

  1. To begin with, carefully study the instructions, mark the place of each part;
  2. If there are holes in the part, then first make them, and then cut out the part itself;
  3. Work only with the part that is needed at the moment;
  4. In order for the fold in the part to be clearly marked, apply a ruler under it. With the blunt side of a clerical knife, lightly pressing, draw along the surface of the wrong side of the paper;
  5. At work, use napkins to clean your hands;
  6. Before gluing the cylindrical parts, wind them around a round object to give a certain shape;
  7. Before gluing, paint over the ends of the parts. Use watercolor or gouache paints. It is better not to use felt-tip pens so as not to spoil all the work.

The IS-7 tank was the most powerful tank during the Second World War. The model of the tank was developed in 1945-1947 and put into production in 1949. It was not adopted by the Soviet Army, but many of the first solutions tested on this tank were subsequently successfully applied in production vehicles. He received powerful weapons and was able to move at the speed of a medium tank.

The article talks about how to make an origami tank model.

One of the most favorite games of little and big boys at all times was the game of war. You can arrange a tank battle at home not only with the help of purchased toys, but also with models of tanks made using the origami technique. Both children and adults enthusiastically engage in this wonderful kind of arts and crafts, which helps develop spatial imagination, fantasy, memory, patience, accuracy, dexterity of fingers. And it's just nice to play with crafts made by yourself.

The benefits of origami can hardly be overestimated. Origami classes are used in the practice of speech therapists, they are used in the correction of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and mental disorders in children. The beauty of skillfully made paper models - animals, birds, geometric figures, ships, planes - allows you to decorate shop windows and walls of houses, decorate city holidays, and use them in commercials.

The art of origami originated in Japan. Paper models originally had a symbolic meaning, served as elements of religious ceremonies, later they were given to each other by members of the social elite, used at weddings. Once in Europe and America in the twentieth century, origami has gained many fans. The creation by the Japanese master of a system of conventional icons for the schematic recording of various models allowed this art to spread everywhere.

There are several varieties of origami: simple for beginners and the most difficult for masters.

Classical origami does not take much time and is accessible to beginners, while a modular origami paper tank will require much more effort and some skill.

History of tanks

Boys love to play war games: they play them on the computer and with models. And what is a war without weapons?

Tanks are one of the most modern tools for ground combat - real enemy fighters. This powerful technique gives superiority in the process of military conflicts. Most major battles have been won through its use.

The history of tank technology dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, with the creation of the first copies of the latest weapons, which the opponents appreciated pretty soon. There is a version that the first tank, invented by Leonardo da Vinci, was a wooden box on wheels with holes for firing. During this time, the design features of tanks and their capabilities have changed. The prototype of the military machine appeared in Great Britain on the eve of the First World War. Caterpillars provided high cross-country ability for armored vehicles. The creation of the T-34 tank, which the famous German Tigers could not resist, influenced the outcome of the Second World War and the further improvement of technical characteristics.

An origami paper tank created according to the scheme will look like this famous fighting vehicle.

To fulfill the desire of the boys to command an entire tank army, they first need to work with their hands and head, learn a lot, spend time and energy. After all, it will be necessary to make several dozen models of tanks. But the spectacle of tank battles on the floor of the house will look spectacular and unforgettable.

How to make an origami paper tank?

There is a manual and a fairly large number of schemes for creating origami paper tanks. All of them are quite simple and accessible for beginners, for example, models such as the Is-7 or T-80. Many schemes will allow you to diversify the models of tanks and this will support the child's interest in the game. Even if the child is small and cannot cope with the tank model by himself, he will be fascinated to watch the wonderful transformation of the sheet in the hands of the parent. And then it will also be possible to color the resulting toy, if you didn’t immediately take khaki or just green paper.

Tank Assembly Principles

To make a paper tank with your own hands, you need to take a sheet from which the hull and tower will be assembled. Another smaller sheet will be required for the trunk. There is no need to glue anything, so the glue from the carpet and floor does not have to be washed. Most importantly, the safety of the child in this game is guaranteed.

In order to make an origami paper tank, there is a step-by-step instruction. The model of the tank is three-dimensional, includes two modules connected using the origami technique. The hull is carried out in stages together with the turret, the muzzle is attached separately. Particular attention should be paid to the folding of the tracks.

It takes ingenuity and a sense of proportion to select the necessary and sufficient barrel length. The opinions of little heroes on this matter are different. In some cases, you have to use tools to shorten the muzzle.

Tank installation

  • At the initial stage of assembly, the sheet should be folded in half.
  • Then you need to outline the fold lines indicated in the diagram, and fold the workpiece along the intended folds.
  • Similarly, folding is performed step by step from the symmetrical side.
  • Next, you need to bend the sides towards the center.
  • The next stage is the manufacture of the front part, for which you need to bend the corners of the front section into the recess in the back.
  • The edges of the sheet just bent to the middle must be bent again, only in the opposite direction - to the outer sides.
  • After that, you should smooth out the craft, and bend the corners of one resulting triangle to the top.
  • Then the layout is turned over and divided into three fragments, folding in the places of breakdown. At this stage, you can already see the looming tower.
  • The remaining not bent corners must be folded in the opposite direction - inward.
  • In order to get a tower, the corners that were obtained at the previous stage of work must be connected with the opposite corners, threading them into pockets.

The turret has been completed and the tank itself is almost ready.
